Chanelle Smith

Yoga Teacher, Barre Instructor & Studio Manager

Chanelle was initially drawn to yoga by her love for movement and stretching during dance classes in her youth. She found solace in the practice as a means to calm her mind and nurture her spirit. After immersing herself in yoga for several years and completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training, Chanelle felt called to deepen her understanding and share its profound benefits with others. Shortly after completing her yoga teacher training, she embarked on a 200-hour meditation teacher training, further enriching her journey. Chanelle is passionate about creating a nurturing and empowering space for students to explore the mind-body connection through yoga and meditation

Discovering the Healing Ranch was a serendipitous journey for Chanelle, sparked by a quest for holistic well-being. She fell in love with the benefits of acupuncture under Rachel's care and was drawn to her extensive knowledge and compassionate approach. As their rapport grew during appointments, it became evident that they shared similar values and passions. When Rachel shared the exciting news about opening The Healing Ranch with Chanelle, she was honored by the invitation to join the team. She eagerly embraced the chance to contribute to a space dedicated to holistic healing and wellness and is proud to be part of a team that shares her commitment to empowering others on their journey to optimal health.

Hailey

Yoga Teacher

Yoga to me, means presently living in union with all of creation. I first discovered yoga in May of 2023 when I reconnected with an old friend who was well into her practice at the time. She explained how she was going to Rishikesh, India to study Akhanda yoga in September. I decided a month before she left to come along with her, and the trip started that changed my life. India helped me discover what my life’s true purpose is, to help heal people and their relationship to spirituality. My dream is to move back to India and build my own spiritual retreat center and eventually write a book about my crazy experiences since awakening.

In my Akhanda yoga classes you can always expect asana (movement), mantra (chanting/sound), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and yogic wisdom (philosophy). Come to my classes to experience a great balance of workout and spiritual healing!

Madison Donkin

Yoga Teacher

Madison stumbled upon the profound practice of yoga as a young teen, practicing in her teacher’s basement, and this is where the seed was planted for a life-changing journey. She continued to practice all different styles of yoga for several years, until moving across the world to Gold Coast, Australia where she found the studio where she would pursue her training. In 2016, she gained her Level 1 Yoga Teacher certificate which included 350 hours of studies, which includes specializations in prenatal, children’s and elderly yoga. She blends elements from a variety of styles of yoga to create a harmonious fusion that caters to the diverse needs of her students. Madison believes you should never take yourself or life too seriously, and she likes this sentiment to shine through in her classes!

Jenna Heusing

Yoga Teacher

After attending a yoga retreat in Costa Rica about 10 years ago I discovered that yoga was more than just asanas. I have always been the type of person who has a hard time slowing down. Yoga allowed me to experience and understand the value in being present and calm. Deep, intentional breathing is my path to calmness and is the main theme of all my classes. I love to challenge myself and my students to maintain their quality of breath through strength poses in flow classes as well as through the mentally challenging long poses in yin. Intentional pairing of movement with breath is what you can look forward to when practicing with me.
